Rosenzweig started the scoring at 29:14 before the game was put into a 30-minute weather delay due to lightning. Cooper then netted a hat trick within seven minutes of returning to play. She scored off an 8-meter less than a minute into play resuming, at 28:26, and then put away a pair of passes from Powers at 24:27 and 22:59, respectively.
Powers then tacked on her own goal, finishing a feed from Rosenzweig at 20:21, before back-to-back scores from Ignacio, assisted by Rosenzweig and Powers, respectively, gave Loyola a 7-0 advantage.
Powers and Rosenzweig connected at 16:36, before VanThof found Fiedler wide open in front of the goal for Loyola's ninth-straight score.
The Crusaders halted Loyola's streak, but the Greyhounds responded with four more goals before the end of the half to take a 13-1 lead into the break. Rosenzweig assisted Ignacio at 11:56, before giving up a free position shot to assist Fiedler and break Loyola's single-season record for assists, moving her season total to 52. Ehrhardt then netted her first goal since the 2017 season on a free position and Fiedler completed her eighth hat trick of the season, assisted by Rosenzweig, to bring the half to a close.
Rosenzweig dished her seventh assist to Cooper, who scored her fourth goal of the day, to start the second half scoring, before Ehrhardt single-handedly turned defense into offense, causing a turnover, scooping up the ground ball, running the field and firing her second goal into the back of the net with 25:46 to play.
Beier found VanThof on a breakaway for a fast-break goal after that, pushing Loyola's lead to 16-1. Following Holy Cross' second goal, Lloyd fended off a double team to net her first goal of the game and Scott followed it up with a goal, assisted by Fiedler.
Holy Cross closed out the scoring in the game with a goal in the final two minutes.
Loyola will now turn its attention to the postseason, as it will host the Patriot League Championships at Ridley Athletic Complex on Thursday, May 2 and Saturday, May 4.
