Twenty-Five Loyola Standouts Named to MAAC 40th Anniversary Teams

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference released a series of 40th Anniversary Teams this summer in celebration of the conference's 40 years of existence, with 25 former Loyola University Maryland standouts included among those recognized.

Loyola was a member of the MAAC for 24 years, joining the conference in 1989 and competing through the 2012-13 academic year before becoming a member of the Patriot League.

Individuals are paired below with the sport in which they were recognized on a MAAC 40th Anniversary Team. The Greyhounds' soccer programs, which combined for 22 MAAC tournament championships during Loyola's time within the conference, led the way with six representatives apiece.

All MAAC Anniversary Team selections were chosen by the MAAC league office.
