Livy Rosenzweig became the fifth player in NCAA history to reach 200 career assists and the sixth-ranked Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse team broke the NCAA's record for consecutive conference games won in an 18-8 win over American at Jacobs Recreational Complex Wednesday afternoon.
Since joining the Patriot League for the 2014 season, the Greyhounds have posted an unblemished 62-0 record in regular-season conference contests to break UMass' previous record of 61-straight games won in Atlantic 10 play from 2011-18.

Jillian Wilson also hit a pair of career milestones, scoring her 100th career goal and winning her 200th career draw control. With one goal, Wilson became the 33rd Greyhound in program history to score 100 goals and just the fourth to win 200 draw controls, as she led all players with five draws today.

For American (7-5, 2-2), Alyssa Apuzzo led the way with two goals.
The Greyhounds exploded for 11 goals in the first quarter, with the two teams combining for 14 goals in the first 15 minutes of play. Loyola raced out to a 6-0 lead just five minutes and 10 seconds into play. Fiedler then answered American's first goal before Rosenzweig completed her 35th career hat trick at the 7:01 mark of the first quarter. Goals from Black and Rosenzweig then gave the Greyhounds a 10-2 advantage with 4:31 still to play in the first quarter. American halted Loyola's run, before Fiedler closed out the first quarter scoring.
Rosenzweig scored her fifth goal on her fifth shot to open the second quarter, followed by a goal from Boyle, giving the Greyhounds a 10-goal advantage, 13-3, by the 10:26 mark. American scored the only other goal of the first half with 5:01 to play before the halftime break.
The Eagles added a second-straight strike to open the second half, before Black and Latch combined for Loyola's next three goals. Black scored first and then Latch netted back-to-back goals to complete her fifth hat trick of the season. American closed out the quarter with its sixth goal of the game, moving the score to 16-6.
Boyle and Stapleton scored the first two goals of the fourth quarter to give Loyola an 18-6 advantage before the Eagles closed out the scoring with consecutive strikes.
The Greyhounds will remain on the road and head to Army West Point on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest.
