Despite that, she has thrived in the classroom where she entered the spring semester with a GPA of better than 3.9, and in the pool, she has set over 20 American records for individuals without sight. She competed for the United States at the 2021 Paralympic Games in Tokyo and was recently named to Team USA for this summer's World Championships in Portugal.

Filograna was a quiet leader of the volleyball team, on and off the court for the last four years, always putting in the work ethic, positive attitude and selfless nature that has propelled the program to some of its best-ever seasons. On the court, she stepped into a key defensive role that helped Loyola become one of the best passing teams in the conference, helping the Greyhounds to three-straight Patriot League Tournaments, including the first in program history in 2018. She has done everything asked of her, on and off the court, with grace and a team-first attitude that has truly made an impact on all of those around her.
Men's – Jake Fowler, Men's Cross Country
Fowler came into the Loyola men's cross country program four years ago with a determination to make a positive impact and help the team grow in an upward direction. He has certainly done that through his ability to lead in many different ways. He endured two season-ending injuries, but he worked behind the scenes to build up the culture of his team, planning continued education and discussions for his team in the areas of mental health, community service and both personal and team goal-setting. In his last season, he returned to the lineup to help lead the Greyhounds to their best-ever finish at the Patriot League Championships and the NCAA Regionals.
