BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland's Lily Mead was named the Patriot League Female Swimmer of the Week for the fifth time this season and the 12^th time in her career on Tuesday after a busy weekend for the Greyhounds to close out their dual meet schedule.
 
Mead won three individual events during the weekend in which the Greyhounds competed against Army West Point and Mount St. Mary's.
 
She opened her schedule with a victory Saturday against the Black Knights in the 100 breaststroke, swimming 1:01.52 before returning with a time of 53.96 to win the 100 butterfly.
 
Sunday, Mead won the 100 individual medley in 55.63, setting a school and pool record.
 
This season, Mead has competed in 13 different events. She ranks in the top three in the Patriot League in 11 of the strokes and has the top time in the conference in four.
 
Mead and the Greyhounds will gear up for the Patriot League Championships that start February 19 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
