Baltimore -- The Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse team announced the signing
Georgia Latch to the Greyhounds coaching staff for the 2026 season.
"We're incredibly excited to welcome Georgia back to Loyola, this time on the sidelines as a coach" said Head Coach
Jen Adams. "As one of the most decorated players in our program's history, she knows firsthand what it means to wear the Greyhound jersey. Georgia's elite playing experience- both here at Loyola and on the international stage- brings tremendous value to our team. She understands our culture, our standards, and what it takes to succeed at the highest level. With her Undergraduate Psychology background, she's uniquely positioned to support our student-athletes both on and off the field. It's a full-circle moment, and we couldn't be more proud to have her back with the program."
Latch, a three-time All-American, two-time Patriot League Attacker of the Year, and a four-time First Team All-Patriot League selection, will join the Greyhounds coaching after finishing her Greyhounds career in 2025. Latch will go down as one of the most decorated players in program history, as she finished her playing career ranked second in program history in assists (193), points (394), and is sixth in goals (201). She also broke the Loyola single-season points (127) and assists (71) record in 2025.
Latch finished her career with a 36-0 regular season Patriot League record and three Patriot League Championships, four NCAA Tournament births, and two NCAA Quarterfinal Appearances.
Outside of Loyola, Latch has had experience on the national level, playing for the Austrailian National Team, playing in the World Championships in 2022 and 2024, and in the World Games in 2022 and 2025. She was a member of the Bronze Medal winning team in the world games in 2025, where she scored the game-winning goal in the bronze medal game, while also being named to the All-World Team.
Latch graduated from Loyola in May, earning her bachelors degree in Psychology, graduating with a 3.33 GPA. Latch was also named to the Patriot League All-Academic team during her senior year thanks to her success on and off the field.
