Loyola University Maryland golf will open its 2025-26 season on Friday, September 5, in Durham, North Carolina, where it will play in the Rod Myers Invitational and John H. Ryan Memorial. The Duke University Golf Club's 7,154-yard, par-72 course will host the three-day event featuring Loyola, the host Blue Devils and nine other schools.
The Greyhounds will send six players to the tournament that plays five on a team with four scores counting each round. Matt Carpentier will play for Loyola as an individual. The Greyhounds go off from the first hole starting at 9:25 a.m. Friday with players from Georgetown and Indiana.
Gustavo Rangel, Jackson Roman and Eli Spaulding return to the Greyhounds lineup from last year's NCAA Regional and Patriot League Championship, and the two will be joined by a pair of freshmen, Jackson Geyer and Liam Moloney.
