ATLANTA – Loyola University Maryland's
Joe Hayburn became the second Greyhounds swimmer to compete at the NCAA Championships on Friday and finished 23rd in the 100 backstroke.
Hayburn, who is the fourth Loyola student in any sport to compete in an NCAA individual championship, swam 44.99 in the morning's preliminaries and was 23rd overall.
He will compete in the 200 backstroke at the NCAA Championships on Saturday starting with the preliminaries at 10 a.m.
