2018 (Sophomore, Track & Field): Indoors… Ran 5:37.27 in the mile at the Great Dane Invitational and 11:23.78 in the 3,000m at the Navy Lid Lifter… Outdoors… Had a season-best time of 5:02.95 in the 1,500m at the Fred Hardy Invitational… Ran 10:57.65 in the 3,000m at the Maryland Invitational… Competed in the 5,000m twice during the season with her top time of 19:13.19 coming at the Lehigh Games.
2017 (Sophomore, Cross Country): Competed in five races during the season… Came in 33rd (16:29.0) at the Bison Invitational and then was 93rd at the Panorama Farms Invitational (21:23.7)… Was 96th (24:41.2) at the Patriot League Championships.
2017 (Freshman, Track & Field): Made her indoor debut at the Towson Tiger Invitational with a time of 5:40.20 in the mile… Ran an indoor season-best of 5:34.19 at Navy’s Sweetheart Multi-Mix… Had a time of 5:15.80 in the 1,500m at the Rider Invitational… Posted a season-best time of 5:10.04 in the 1,500m at the Lehigh Games… Finished 27th in the 5,000m at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
2016 (Freshman, Cross Country): Made her collegiate debut at the Navy Invitational, running 26:20.58… Finished 88th at the Patriot League Championships.
Before Loyola: Earned 12 varsity letters – four each in indoor and outdoor track and field and two apiece in soccer and cross country – at Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest, New Jersey… Won the Bergen County Division E title in the 3,200m as a senior and qualified for the State Meet of Champions… Also was an All-League First Team performer in the 1,600m… Earned Most Valuable Runner honors during indoor track season in 2015 and 2016 and was an All-County honorable mention performer in 2015… Earned numerous indoor All-League and All-County honors in relays and was an All-League First Team runner in the 3,200m in 2015… Received All-League First Team recognition in cross country in 2014 and 2015… Helped her indoor track and field team win the Bergen County Division E title in 2016 and the cross country team to the County’s Division B 2014 crown… The outdoor track and field team was a three-time United League Champion from 2013-2015.
Personal: Daughter of Betsy and Steve Jansson… Has an older brother, Christian, and an older sister, Hanna… Four-year member of the honor roll at Holy Angels… Was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Summer AIM Program in July 2015… Earned the Dwight D. Eisenhower Leadership Award from the West Point Parents Club of New York and New Jersey in 2015… Was a second soprano in the chorus… Participated in Operation Smile, Gaelic Society, the Go Green Club, Angels Over Africa, as an Angel Ambassador and was on the Austria/Germany Study Abroad Summer Trip in 2014.
