2018 (Freshman, Track & Field): Posted a time of 5:20.04 in the mile at the Terrapin Invitational and then ran 3:03.41 in the 1,000m at the Wes Brown Invitational, the No. 9 time in the event in school history… Ran 5:14.56 in the mile at the Sweetheart Multi-Mix… Was 11th in the 1,000m at the Patriot League Indoor Championships (3:01.27), seventh-best in school history… Ran on the distance medley relay at the ECAC Championships… Debuted outdoors with a 4:58.78 in the 1,500m at the Maryland Invitational… Had two strong runs at the Bison Outdoor Classic, going 4:48.42 in the 1,500m and 10:40.51 in the 3,000m… Posted a time of 19:30.60 in the 5,000m at the JMU Invitational… Was 15th in the 1,500m at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships (4:44.35).

2017 (Freshman, Cross Country): Made her Loyola debut at the Bison Invitational (27th, 15:54.3)… Took 80th at the Panorama Farms Invitational (19:47.1)… Was the team’s third finisher at the Paul Short Run (113th, 23:02.4) and its top finisher at the Penn State National (150th, 23:15.1)… Ran 155th (23:04.8) at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Red Bank (New Jersey) Catholic High School where she competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field from 2015-17… Clocked best times of 58 seconds in the 400 meters, 2:26 in the 800 meters, 5:32 in the 1,600 meters and 20:25 in the 5,000 meters… Helped her outdoor track and field team win the Monmouth County title in both 2016 and 2017 and the indoor track and field team to the 2015, 2016 and 2017 county crowns… Led Red Bank Catholic to the 2017 New Jersey indoor track and field championship… Helped the cross country team win Shore Conference titles in cross country in 2016 and 2017 and win the state group crowns, as well… Ran a half-marathon in 1:50.01 in 2015, placing 215th out of 12,423 female runners.

Personal: Tara Michelle Ryan… Daughter of Kathryn and Richard Ryan… Has a younger sister, Maria… Volunteered in the Intensive Care Unit at Jersey Shore Medical Center and participated in Rebuild Recover after Superstorm Sandy… Was a surfing instructor.
