2020 (Sophomore, Track & Field): Finished fifth in the mile at the New Year's Invitational (5:47.21) and later ran a personal-best in the event at the Villanova Invitational (5:32.17)... Ran the 3,000 at the VMI Indoor Classic (11:20.61).
2019 (Sophomore, Cross Country): Finished 35th in the Towson Invitational in 17:58.8 and was 122nd at the Iona Meet of Champions (21:45.9)... Placed 292nd at the Paul Short Run (24:28.2) and was 176th at the Princeton Invitational (24:59.1)... Finisehd 104th at the Patriot League Championships (25:52.0).
2019 (Freshman, Track & Field): Made her track debut for Loyola at the Great Dane Classic in the mile... Ran 3:28.71 in the 1,000 at the Patriot Games and then timed a 5:38.48 mile at the Navy Select meet indoors... Had a season-best time of 2:35.74 in the 800 at the Navy Spring meet... Ran 5:14.19 in the 1,500 at the Towson Invitational.
2018 (Freshman, Cross Country): Competed in two races as a freshman ... finished 67
th at Navy Salty Dog Invitational (28:04.02) ... ran 54
th at Lafayette Invitational with a time of 27:21.22.
Before Loyola: Graduated from Garden City (N.Y.) High School on Long Island where she was a 12-time letter winner ... earned four each in cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field … had top times of 5:10 in the 1,500m, 69.0 in the 400m, 2:28 in the 800m, 11:16 in the 3,000m and 3:13 in the 1,000m … helped Garden City to conference and county championships … named the indoor track and field’s team award winner for dedication and excellence in 2018 and was the girls’ cross country Most Outstanding Award winner in 2017.
Personal: Daughter of Jeannine and Robert Votruba … has three younger siblings, Nina, RJ and Leo … member of the National Honor Society … volunteered at Camp ANCHOR and was a volunteer coach for the St. Anne’s CYO track and field team … earned the “Triple C Award” for commitment, character and courage, given by New York’s Attorney General … her father, Robert, has completed the New York City Ironman triathlon and eight marathons.
