2022 (Junior): Played in three games during the season, going 7 of 10 (.700) on faceoffs… Won both of the draws he took at Navy and then was 4 of 5 at Georgetown… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2021 (Junior): Played in seven games on the faceoff unit for the Greyhounds… Finished the year 11 of 23 (.478) at the ‘X’ with five ground balls… Was 5 of 10 against Utah with three ground balls… Won 3 of 4 with two ground balls versus Lafayette... Earned recognition on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2020 (Freshman): Made his collegiate debut at Lafayette and had a ground ball... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Loyola: Graduated from nearby Calvert Hall College High School where he was a four-time letterwinner, earning two in both football and lacrosse… Won 70 percent of the faceoffs he took for the Cardinals during the 2019 season in which they were ranked No. 1 nationally… Won 63 percent at the X in 2018… Helped the Cardinals win both the 2018 and 2019 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) A-Conference titles… Named Calvert Hall’s Unsung Hero for lacrosse in 2019… Was the starting kicker for Calvert Hall’s football team.
 
Personal: Son of Kathie and Dom Cottone… Member of Calvert Hall’s Model UN, National Honor Society and was captain of the FCA… Named to the Dean’s List all eight semesters at Calvert Hall… Peer Minister at the school… His father, Dom, was a lacrosse and soccer player at the University of Baltimore… Has two older siblings, Tim and Katie.
