Mark Harris serves as the Director of Athletic Development at Loyola University Maryland. In this role, he oversees the major gift and annual fundraising efforts for the Department of Athletics in the University's Bright Minds, Bold Hearts comprehensive campaign. Since Harris arrived in 2010, Loyola has established a major gift program for Athletics and more than doubled its annual fundraising efforts.

He oversaw the fundraising effort to construct the McClure Tennis Center, which is slated to open in Spring 2015. Harris also serves as a member of the senior athletics staff and supports numerous external and internal initiatives.

Before joining Loyola, Harris served as the Assistant Director of Athletics Development at Northeastern University where he helped set both fundraising and donor participation records. Prior to that role, Harris was Northeastern's Assistant Director of Sports Information, and oversaw media relations for both the football and men's basketball programs. In addition, he ran the corporate partners program and managed the school's live video streaming production service. Harris also spent one year as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Stonehill College.

Harris is a graduate of Bucknell University and holds a Master of Sports Leadership degree from Northeastern.
