Experience Michael Wetmore graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation (now LifeBridge Health) team since 2010. He is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). Dr. Wetmore utilizes this base of knowledge and biomechanical perspective to develop individualized and corrective exercise programs designed to return his patients to their maximal functional capacity. Additionally, Michael has taken extensive coursework in dry needling. He takes pride in educating all of his patients to the fullest extent. Michael utilizes several movement analysis systems to assess and correct functional movement including 3D wireless sensor technology (DorsaVi), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Original Strength. Michael served as the Howard and Montgomery County Sports Medicine 'champion' for Novacare Rehabilitation, helping to develop and grow the sports medicine program in the central Maryland area. Michael has a passion for treating athletes from youth and recreational athletes to collegiate and professional teams including Minor League (AA) Bowie Baysox and National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Washington Spirit.
