Biography
2022-2023 (Senior): Played in 11 tournaments with a scoring average of 74.77… Four top-25 finishes during the season… Had an 11th-place finish at the Ross Collegiate Classic, shooting an even-par 216 for his best finish of the year… Included a 4-under 68 during the second round at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club for his best round of the season… Finished in a tie for 19th out of 103 players at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate… Tied for 23rd at the Georgetown Intercollegiate at Liberty National Golf Club… Took a tie for 24th at Northwestern’s Windon Memorial… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2019-20 (Freshman): Strong debut season for the Greyhounds, playing all seven tournaments and finishing with a freshman scoring record versus par of 1.89... Completed the year with a 73.32 stroke average... Had six rounds of par or lower, and Loyola counted his score in 17 of 19 rounds... Opened his career with a tie for 19th at the VCU Invitational, shooting even-par 216 (73-68-75)... Tied for 15th at both the Hamptons Intercollegiate the Georgetown Intercollegiate... Started the spring with his best tournament of the year, tying for eighth at the Loyola Intercollegiate in Goodyear, Arizona... Had three rounds of par or better, 72-68-71... Tied for 44th at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate.
Before Loyola: Graduated from Saint Anselm's Abbey School where he played golf, baseball and basketball... Had a tournament scoring average of 71.8 as a senior in 2019 after shooting 74.7 as a junior... Named the Washington Metropolitan Golf Association's Junior Golfer of the Year in 2018 and earned Washington Post All-Met First Team honors in 2019 after receiving honorable mention the prior two years... Four-time (2016-19) conference Player of the Year... Named his school's Mark Duchesne Student-Athlete Award Winner... Helped his team win the PVAC Golf title three times from 2017-19 and helped the baseball to titles those same seasons... Was the Confernece Player of the Year in baseball and the Championship Tournament Most Valuable Player in 2018 and earned D.C. First Team honors in 2018... Onthe basketball court, helped Saint Anselm's Abbey to the PVAC tournament title in 2019.
Personal: Son of Donna Forbes and Robert Pizzano... Has two older siblings, Robert and Anna... Received the Saint Anselm of Canterbury Award for Outstanding Service to the School.
