Before Loyola: Graduated from Waunakee HIgh School where he was a six-time letterwinner with four in lacrosse and two in cross country... Did not play as a senior in 2024 due to an injury, but racked up 127 goals in three years to go with 66 assists... Was the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation Player of the Year in 2023 as a junior after scoring 79 goals and assisting on 36... Also named All-State and All-Conference First Team and was the Conference Player of the Year... Earned All-Conference recognition in 2022, as well, following a season when he scored 41 goals and had 26 assists... Led Waunakee to the state title game in 2023, semifinals in 2022 and to a state crown in 2021... Played club lacrosse for Project Midwest, Alpha Lacrosse and Nike Nationals Team Midwest.

Personal: Son of Anne and Travis Blackburn... Has three younger siblings, Addison, Nora and Emerson... Member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society... Earned Superior Honor Roll recognition in high school.
