2012 (Senior):Elected a team co-captain by his teammates.
2011 (Junior):Saw action in 11 games on Loyola[apos]s second midfield and faceoff squad throughout the year... Ended the year with a .531 faceoff percentage, winning 17-of-32... Also had six ground balls and a caused turnover... Filled in for John Schiavone, who was injured, at the `X[apos] against Air Force (3/19)... Won 10-of-16 (.625) against the Falcons.
2010 (Sophomore): Played in nine games on midfield lines for the Greyhounds... Scored a pair of goals and had an assist... Picked up six ground galls... Had a goal and an assist versus Air Force (3/20)... Also took 16 faceoffs, winning nine (.562) during the season.
2009: Saw his playing time increase as the year progressed... Made his collegiate debut against Bryant (3/10) on the face-off X... Scored his first goal for Loyola against Fairfield (4/18)... Went 3-of-5 on faceoffs against Fairfield and Hobart (4/25)... Had three ground balls against the Stags.
Before Loyola: Played both football and lacrosse at Saint Mary[apos]s High School in Annapolis, Md... Played in the Under Armour All-America game... Was ranked one of the nation[apos]s Top-50 recruits by Inside Lacrosse in 2007... Selected to play for the Maryland Free State team in lacrosse... Also helped his football team win a title in 2007.
Personal: Son of Steve and Jeanne Dalton... Father played football in the 1970s for the Baltimore Colts and Washington Redskins...Brother, Will, was a captain for the 2008 University of Maryland lacrosse team... Sister, Joanna, plays lacrosse for the Loyola women[apos]s team.
