2013 (Freshman): Named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team... Played in 11 games on the Greyhounds[apos] close defense and man-down unit... Made his collegiate debut at Delaware (2/16).

High School: Attended Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Del., where he was a USLacrosse All-American as a senior in 2012... Helped the Sals win the 2012 Delaware state title... Participated in the Champion All-American Showcase with current Loyola classmate Joe Baker... Also participated in the Warrior 40... Earned All-Delaware First Team following his senior year when he was named Salesianum[apos]s Defensive Player of the Year... Named to Inside Lacrosse[apos]s Top 100 Power Freshman list, as well as the publication[apos]s Top 40 freshman defenders... Earned a spot on ESPN[apos]s list of the top-25 defenders in high school. Played club for HEADstrong Elite and also SoCo Lacrosse... Was a team captain for HEADstrong and helped the team win the 2011 King of the Hill Championship... Also played ice hockey and lettered as a freshman... Named to Salesianum[apos]s honor roll.

Personal: Justin Nicholas Verratti... Son of Michele and Nick Verratti... Has a younger brother, Jared... His father was a four-year letterman in football at Lebanon Valley College.
