2018-2019 (Junior) Won two singles matches at the Villanova Invitational over Lafayette and LaSalle... Teamed up with classmate Peter Kelley to be victorious in a doubles match at the Bucknell, Villanova, and Loyola Invitational during our fall season... He is majoring in business and will be studying abroad in Greece in the fall semester.

2017-2018 (Freshman): Competed well early during the fall tournament season, winning two singles and two doubles matches (with classmate Peter Kelley) at the Villanova Invitational… Was injured thereafter in the fall.

Before Loyola: Was a four-year letterwinner in tennis at Saint John Paul II High School in Barnstable, Massachusetts… Went 66-10 (.868) during his high school career, going 17-3 as a freshman (2014), 16-3 as a sophomore (2015), 17-2 as a junior (2016) and 16-2 as a senior (2017)… Was a four-time Most Valuable Player for the Lions… Earned All-Star honors for the Cap & Islands League from the Boston Globe all four years and was the league MVP for his final three seasons (2015-17)… Led his team to South Sectional Championship appearances in each of his three years, including the 2014 finals, semifinals in 2015 and 2016 and the quarterfinals in 2017… Captain of the team as a junior and senior.

Personal: Jeffrey Cooper Tomchik… Son of Julie and Jeffrey Tomchik… Earned honors at Saint John Paul II as a freshman, sophomore and senior… Traveled to Duran, Ecuador, for a service trip during Thanksgiving Break of his senior year… Participated in seven service experiences throughout high school… Father was a baseball player at Western New England University.
