2018-2019 (Junior) Will be a co-captain for the Greyhounds his senior year... Had an outstanding Junior season, finishing with the second most singles wins (10), and the most doubles victories (19), with his freshman partner Skylar Gates... Won two singles matches at the Villanova Invitational along with three more singles and doubles wins at the Loyola Invitational to reach the finals... He and Gates won the Bucknell Invitational “A” flight consolation tournament in our fall season along with two more victories at the Villanova Invitational... Was 3-3 in singles and 3-5 in doubles vs Patriot League opponents... Is a Dean’s list nominee majoring in communications.

2017-2018 (Sophomore): Had an excellent second season for the Greyhounds… Voted the team’s Most Dedicated Player… Won 15 singles matches, seven in a row, and had the second-most doubles victories, teaming with Blest Jones at No. 1 for 17… Won three out of four singles and all four doubles matches at the Villanova Invitational… Won all three singles, and three of his four doubles contests, at the Loyola Invitational… Won the “C” flight consolation bracket in singles at the Patriot League Kickoff Tournament… Won three doubles matches with Jones at the Navy Invitational.

2016-2017 (Freshman): Made a positive impact in his first year for the Greyhounds, earning eight victories as the No. 6 singles player with a match-clinching three-set win against North Carolina Central… Had a 2-3 record against Patriot League opponents.

Before Loyola: Played number 1 singles all 4 years for Emmaus High School… was a 4 year district finalist in singles winning the championship his junior year… Reached the doubles district finals his first 2 years of H.S. and the team district final, as a freshman. Was team MVP all 4 years.

Personal: Mathew Fitzmaurice… Son of Cindy and Thomas Fitzmaurice… has an older sister Megan who played 4 years of tennis at F+M and is now in her 2nd year as a GA at Lehigh
