                        2016-2017 (Junior): Won the third-most singles matches on the team (15), playing at No. 4, including dual-match wins over North Carolina Central, Delaware and Navy… At the Loyola Invitational, won all four of his singles matches with victories over two Villanova players, as well as foes from Johns Hopkins and Mount St. Mary’s.
2015-2016 (Sophomore): Competed well for the Greyhounds at the number 2 singles and doubles spot after recovering from a season ending back injury his freshman year… won 2 of 3 singles matches at the Villanova Invitational in the fall and 2 doubles matches with partner Greg Olesnycky in the first Loyola Invitational… they had a very impressive showing at the Navy Invitational by winning 3 matches in a row vs. quality opponents which started an 8 match winning streak… were 3-4 vs. Patriot League opponents.
2014-2015 (Freshman): Positive results in his first season before a back injury halted his competitive season... Reached the quarterfinals in singles in the "B" flight at the Bucknell Invitational, was 2-2 in singles at the Villanova Invitational and advanced to the semifinals of the Mount St. Mary's "D" flight... Paired with John Ferruzzi made the semifinal round of the Mount St. Mary's "B" doubles flight before losing a tight 8-7 tiebreaker. 
Before Loyola: Was a four-year letterwinner in tennis at Moorestown (N.J.) High School where he was an All-Burlington County performer for four years... Earned All-South Jersey honors as a freshman and senior and All-South Jersey Group 3 each of his four years... Named to the All-State Group 3 Second Team as a freshman... Helped his team win a state title and three South Jersey crowns... Won 112 matches as a high school player... Also was a two-year member of the soccer team.
Personal: Tyler Scott Blessing... Son of Christine and Scott Blessing... Has one younger sibling, Carlie... Received the Moorestown H.S. AP Scholar Award and the Paul Eisenberg Award that is given to student-athletes who are leaders on and off the court... Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and YoungLife... Competed in USTA Tournaments and National Father-Son tournaments...
