2017-2018 (Freshman): Started his first season with two singles wins and a third-place finish at the Mount St. Mary’s Invitational… Teamed with classmate Charlie Shanker to win three doubles matches and the “C” flight tournament at the event, as well… Shanker and he also won two matches at the Patriot League Kickoff Tournament over Lehigh and Colgate to reach the semifinals… Dean’s List honoree in engineering.

Before Loyola: Was a four-year varsity tennis player at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida… Helped the Lightning win the 2015 and 2016 state titles… Played at the Midtown Athletic Club Tennis Academy since 2010.

Personal: Rodrigo Andres Moreno Villarroel… Son of Frenando Moreno and Fany VIllarroel… Born in Caracas, Venezuela… Older brother, Carlos, plays tennis at Marist College.
