Before Loyola: Rowed for Long Beach Junior Crew… Rowed at the Head of the Charles, San Diego Crew Classic, Southwest Youth Championships, Youth Regional Challenge and the Youth National Championships… Member of the first-place lightweight 8+ at the Faultline Face-off Invitational in February 2017 and the lightweight 2x at the Southern California League Cal Cup in March 2017… Also helped the lightweight 4+ to the Long Beach Invitational title in April 2017… Was in a second-place lightweight 2x at that event, as well… Helped his lightweight 4+ to second at the Southwest Youth Championships in May 2017 and fifth at the Youth National Championships in June 2017… Part of a youth fours that took 20^th at the Head of the Charles… Also an accomplished gymnast… Finished fifth in the all-around at the 2015 SCMGA State Championships and was 12^th at the 2015 Region 1 Championships… Competed at the 2015 Junior Olympic Nationals and was second in the high bar, third in the pommel horse and 10^th in the all-around… Was 12^th in the all-around at the 2016 SMCGA Championships and 20^th at the Region 1 Championships.
 
Personal: Son of Dorinda and Glen Francia… Has two triplet brothers, Trent and Tyler… Three-time Academic All-American in rowing… Member of the Civil Air Patrol as a first sergeant… Training as a glider pilot… Has volunteered at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base July 4^th activities, as well as with Operation Christmas Child and Wreaths Across America.
