Loyola University Maryland Athletics

Before Loyola: A transfer from Virginia Tech, where she earned one letter in 2024-25… A three-year Richmond Times-Dispatch All Metro team honoree; earned First Team accolades in the 50 freestyle in her junior and senior campaigns…  A three-time individual Class 3 VHSL State Champion, capturing the 100 butterfly in 2023 and the 50 freestyle in 2023-24… The Maggie L. Walker girls’ swim team Most Valuable Athlete in all four years and the team co-captain in 2023-24… A three-year (2021-24) USA Swimming Scholastic All-American… Led the Dragons to a pair of Class 3 state championships (2022-23)… Also lettered in track and field (long jump) in her senior year… Competed for SwimRVA Rapids club team.  
 
Personal: Daughter of Sarah and John Datovech… Has two brothers, Paul and Andrew… Paul was a four-year letterwinner in swimming at the University of Mary Washington and is the current assistant swimming coach at Randolph Macon… Andrew also competed in swimming at the Maggie L. Walker School… Volunteered at SwimRVA swim camps, ACES (Ashland Christian Emergency Services), and The National Park Service.
