2021-22 (Junior): Set two personal bests at the ECAC Open Championships in the 50 Free (21.35) and the 100 Fly (50.04) ... Also set a personal best in the 100 Breast (57.89) at the H2ounds Invitational ... Had a season best finish of 2nd place in the 100 Breast at the meet against Lafayette.
2019-20 (Freshman): Scored in the 200 butterfly at the ECAC Championships, placing 13th in the ‘B’ final after posting a personal-best time of 1:52.94 in the prelims … also competed in the 100 fly and 200 IM that weekend … recorded 15 individual top-five performances during the regular season … placed sixth out of 38 swimmers in the 200 IM at the H2ounds Invitational with a season-best effort of 1:54.63 … was also ninth in the 200 fly and 11th in the 100 fly that weekend … won the 200 fly and was second in the 100 fly at Colgate … was the runner-up in the 200 fly, and posted a season-best time of 51.29 in the 100 fly against Boston College.
Before Loyola: Three-year state qualifier at Fordham Prep … part of a NY State Championship 200 medley relay team as a senior … four-time state finalist as a junior … swam for Badger Swim Club … also lettered in cross country (one year) and outdoor track & field (two years) … team MVP and All-State performer in cross country.
Personal: Son of Stephen Copeland and Jennilyn Estacio … has one sibling, Marissa.
