2021-22 (Junior): Set two seasonal bests at the ECAC Open Championships in the 50 Free (23.22) and 100 Back (57.37) ... Placed 2nd in the 50 Free in the same weekend ... Also had Season Bests at the Blue Jay Invite in the 100 Free (50.41) and 100 Back (57.87), placed 4th in the 100 Free and 2nd in the 100 Back at the meet ... Had three top-five finishes on the season.

2020-21 (Sophomore): Raced in seven meets during Loyola’s abbreviated spring season … set personal bests in the 50 free (22.86) and 100 back (56.84) at the April Pools Virtual Invitational, placing 15th overall in the 100 back … finished fourth in the 200 back with a personal-best mark of 2:04.63 in Loyola’s second dual vs. American.

2019-20 (Freshman): Set season-best times in the 100 free (50.77) and 100 backstroke (58.09) at the ECAC Championships … also competed in the 50 free and 100 butterfly that weekend … posted top 50 free time of 23.13 at the H2ounds Invitational in December.

Before Loyola: Part of a swim team at Severna Park HS which won two regional championships (2017, 2019) and three county championships (2017-19) … team was undefeated in dual meets during his three years … regional champion in the 100 free as a senior … placed second in the 100 free and 50 free in the county championships in 2019 … ranked fifth in the district in the 100 free preliminaries (49.54) … attended Del Norte HS in 2015-16, contributing to a swim team which went undefeated and won Division II CIF championship … served as a team captain for the water polo team at Del Norte … also swam for Pacific Swim Team (San Diego, Calif.) and Severna Park YMCA.

Personal: Is the son of Jeff and Gretchen Cannon … father played baseball at Mount Saint Mary’s … has two siblings, Peyton and Chase … member of the National Honor Society … member and officer of the Architecture, Construction and Engineering Club (ACE).
