2020-21 (Junior): Won the ‘B’ final in the 100 back at the season-ending Patriot League Challenge meet after posting a season-best mark of 1:04.46 during the preliminary session … added an 11th place finish in the 200 back that weekend … placed fourth in the 200 back during Loyola’s second dual vs. American, recording a season-best time of 2:17.09 … took fourth in the 100 back against Mount St. Mary’s … raced at seven meets overall during Loyola’s abbreviated spring season.
2019-20 (Sophomore): Competed in the 50 free, 100 back and 200 back at the ECAC Championships, recording season-best times in the 50 free and 100 back … top finish at the meet was a 32nd place effort in the 200 back … finished 17th in the 200 back at the H2ounds Invitational in December.
Before Loyola: Joins the Greyhounds as a transfer from Franklin & Marshall, where she was a member of the swim team in 2018-19 … four-year varsity swimmer at Villa Maria Academy HS, helping team claim district championships all four years … four-time district qualifier, and a three-time district medalist in the 100 back … primarily competed in back and free events … also swam at Lionville Community YMCA.
Personal: Is the daughter of Ed and Suzanne Kowalewski … has two siblings, Grant and Owen … honor roll student … Kairos retreat leader … served as a volunteer YMCA swim coach.
