2024-25 (Sophomore): Swam the 50 freestyle and backstroke events at the ECAC Open Championships… A week earlier, reached two B finals and recorded personal bests in the backstroke events at the Patriot League Championships… Cut nearly a second off the prelim time and placed 12th in the 200 back (2:01.71) and set another mark of 57.10 (15th position) in the 100 yard event… Won the 200 backstroke (2:01.97) at the H2ounds Invitational and also set a personal best in the 200 freestyle (1:54.32)… Accumulated 81 points in the Thomas Murphy Invitational.

2023-24 (First Year): Saw a great deal of action as a freshman, competing in 11 meets, including both post-season competitions… Posted an 11th place finish in the 200 backstroke in a career-best time of 2:02.08…Also recorded a PR in the 100 back (57.57) and amassed 23 points during the meet… Won the 200 backstroke in the second meet of the year vs. Lafayette, one of four golds in that event for the season (Loyola H2ounds Invitational, William & Mary, American/Colgate)… Also earned a win vs. Mount St. Mary’s in the 1000 freestyle… Registered another career high with a time of 5:04.88 in the 500 freestyle at the Thomas Murphy Invitational.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Westfield High School where she was a four-year varsity swimmer from 2019-23… Earned the Captain’s Award for swimming and was a Meet of Champions qualifier… School’s highest point scorer all four years, helping Westfield to the county, sectional and state titles in 2021-2022… Became the highest point scorer in school history… Swam for Fanwood Scotchplains YMCA (FSPY) from 2021-2023 and Westfield YMCA prior to that… Held the FSPY 200 backstroke LCM record… Competed in the YMCA Nationals every summer since 2019.
 
Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and James Lane… Has a brother, Timothy… Member of the honor roll… Father played basketball at Princeton.
