Before Loyola: Placed third in the 200 breaststroke at the 2026 Pennsylvania YMCA State Championships… Also competed in the backstroke and individual medley at that meet… Produced an outstanding meet at the 2026 YMCA East Districts, setting personal bests in the 100 butterfly, 200 back and both IM races… A finalist at the Washington Championship while competing for West Chester Marlins Club… Set a personal top mark with a seventh-place finish in the 200 backstroke (2:29.85).
Personal: Daughter of Amy and Andrew DeFonzo… Has two brothers, Ben and Andrew … Ben competed in lacrosse and track & field at Henderson… Also competed in interscholastic sailing… Took part in the 2026 Cape May Point Women’s Lifeguard Challenge…Swam for West Chester Area YMCA.
