Before Loyola: Earned 10 varsity letters - four in swimming and three each in football and track and field - at Mountain Lakes (N.J.) High School... Earned All-Area Honorable Mention in swimming and was the 2006 team captain... Helped the Lakers win the 2005 and 2006 New Jersey State Championships... Team won Morris County titles from 2004-2006 and earned Colonial Hills Conference crowns those seasons, as well... Earned All-Conference First Team honors in football and was an All-Area and All-Group I Second Team member in the sport, as well... Earned All-Conference Second Team laurels in track and field in the javelin... Captain of the football and track and field teams as a senior.
