Before Loyola: Earned six letters - four in swimming and two in soccer - at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nev... Was a regional and state qualifier as a sophomore, junior and senior, helping the Gaels win the regional title each year... Attended Mount Saint Mary[apos]s Academy as a freshman, helping the team win the county, conference and state titles, qualifying for all three meets in the 200 and 500 freestyles... Honor Roll all four years... All-Academic and Coaches Award recipient... Member of the National Honor Society... Swan for the BCH Swim Team in Henderson, Nev., helping the team win the state title in 2005 and 2006.
Personal: Megan Shovlin... Daughter of Patti and Jeff Shovlin... Her younger brother, Ryan, is a freshman on the Loyola swimming team... Born in Washington, D.C.
