Before Loyola: Won a pair of state championships in 2024-25, capturing the 100 breaststroke at the 2024 CIAC State Open Championships for Ridgefield HS and the 2025 Connecticut Senior Championships for the Ridgefield Aquatic Club… Set a personal record with a time of 1:04.34 in the most recent event… Also the state champion in the 100 breaststroke in 2022 and led her squad to state titles in both her sophomore and senior seasons… Earned All-FCIAC (Fairfield County) First Team honors during her final three years at Ridgefield.
Personal: Daughter of Katherine and Evan McGerald… Has older siblings Kasey and Ethan… Earned academic high honors in all four years at Ridgefield.
