Before Loyola: Competed at the USA Swimming Futures Championships in Greensboro, N.C. in July-August 2026 and the Speedo Sectionals in St. Mary’s City in late March 2026…. A two-time finalist in the breaststroke events… Capped his high school career by competing at the 2026 PIAA 3A State Championships and set a PR in the 100 breaststroke (56.97 in prelims)… Finished 14th in the finals, earned Honorable Mention All-State honors… Won the 200 IM at the 2024 PIAA District II AAA Championship and took second in the 100 breaststroke… Most decorated swimmer in Scranton East history, setting seven pool and school records… An all-around athlete, who also competed in soccer, football, volleyball and mixed martial arts.
Personal: Son of Rocio and Lisandro Ayala… Has two younger siblings, Jordan and Alison… A talented artist, who was nominated for the Junior National Art Society and has had artwork selected for local exhibitions… Also a violinist in the school orchestra… A member of the Community Service and Health Careers clubs… Participated at the college prep program at the University of Scranton for five years… Also swim for the Pacers Aquatic Club.
