2024-25 (First Year): Competed in the backstroke events and the 200 butterfly and individual medley at the ECAC Open Championships… Scored four points, highlighted by a 14 th place finish in the 200 backstroke… Swam in three A Finals at the H2ounds Invitational and amassed 84 points… Placed fourth in the 200 butterfly (2:08.92), shaving 1.4 seconds off of her preliminary time… Took 0.61 seconds off her prelim time in the 200 backstroke, finishing fifth in the evening at 2:04.48… Produced an excellent meet vs. Lafayette, winning the 100 backstroke (first collegiate victory) and taking second in the 100 back. 

Before Loyola:  Captured a pair of All-South Jersey Third Team honors in the 100 backstroke in 2023 and 2024… Captained the Cherry Hill East squad in 2024 when they captured the NJSIAA Division Group A championship… The team won the state title in 2023… Competes for the Jersey Wahoos club team and ranks in the club’s all-time top ten in the 100/200 LC backstroke events… Participated in the 2023 USA Swimming Futures Championships in Richmond and earned a spot in the B finals of the 100 backstroke.  

Personal: Daughter of Dolly and Stephen Yerkes… Has two younger brothers, Jacob and Josh… Was born in Bangkok, Thailand… A member of the Cum Laude Honor Society, Science National Honor Society and French National Honor Society… A volunteer tutor in 2024… Performed in 2021 and 2022 Artist in Motion Dance ballet.
