2021-22 (Junior): Placed in 3rd place in the 50 Free at the ECAC Open Championships ... Posted a personal best time in the 50 Breast (27.25) in the duel meet against Mount Saint Mary's ... Posted a personal best time in the 50 Free (21.58) at the H2ounds Invitational ... Competed in 9 meets during the season.

2020-21 (Sophomore): Reached the ‘A’ final in the 500 free at the season-ending Patriot League Challenge meet, and qualified for the ‘B’ final in the 100 and 200 free events … his preliminary mark of 46.78 in the 100 free was a new personal best … took fourth in the 500 free at the April Pools Virtual Invitational with a PR time of 4:43.19 … posted 13 individual top-five performances on the year … won the 200 free with a personal-best time of 1:42.75 vs. Villanova, and took first in the 500 free during Loyola’s second dual against American.

2019-20 (Freshman): Set personal-best times in the 50 free (21.61) and 100 free (46.96) at the ECAC Championships … also placed 33rd overall in the 200 free (1:43.96) that weekend … was runner-up in the 200 free against Towson after posting a personal-best mark of 1:43.84, and was also second in the 100 breast vs. Mount St. Mary’s … posted seven individual top-five performances during the regular season … placed 10th in the 200 free at the Thomas Murphy Invitational … finished 12th in the 200 free and 13th in the 100 free at the H2ounds Invitational.

Before Loyola: Two-time state finalist at Winston Churchill HS … placed sixth in the 200 free and seventh in the 50 free at state’s as a senior … was sixth in the 500 free at state meet during his junior season … part of a 400 free relay team which set a new state record at 3:09.34 … served as team captain … team won state championships in 2018 and 2019, and finished as Washington Metro Champions in 2018 … also swam for Rockville Montgomery Swim Club and Bethesda Barracudas.

Personal: Is the son of Son Nguyen and Cam Trang … has one brother, Sean.
