2024-25 (Sophomore): Earned 19 points for the Greyhounds in diving competition of the Patriot League Championships… Reached the B Finals on the 1-meter board (14th, 268.15) and the C Finals (20th, 240.55) on the 3-meter board… Swept both boards in the February meet vs. Mary Washington, the season opener vs. American and at the H2ounds Invitational… Set personal bests at the invitational, earning 297.30 points on the 1-meter board and 279.53 on the higher board… Captured gold on the lower board (285.45) in the tri-meet vs. Colgate and Lehigh. 

2023-24 (First Year): The Greyhounds’ top performing diver at the Patriot League Championships, placing tenth on the 1-meter board (277.25) and 13th on the 3-meter board (264.95) … Both scores were season bests… Improved by 36.2 points and three places from the prelims on the finals on the lower board and 18.4 points/two places from daytime to evening on the 3-meter board… Captured both boards in the Loyola H2ounds Invitational… Triumphed on the 1-meter board vs. Mount St. Mary’s and American/Colgate and the 3-meter board vs. Bucknell.  

Before Loyola: Graduated from South Side High School where he lettered in baseball and swimming and diving.
 
Personal: Son of Debra and Thomas McCarthy… Has two siblings, Devin and Kelly.
