2025-26 (First Year): Competed in three relays (200, 400 freestyle; 200 medley) and three individual events (backstrokes, 100 butterfly) at the ECAC Open Championships… Swam second leg as Greyhounds earned gold in the 200 free relay and earned a bronze as part of 400 free foursome… Made the A Final in the 100 backstroke and placed seventh… Earned 25 points for the Greyhounds.. Part of first-place quartet in the 200 medley relay at the H2ounds Invitational… Also finished sixth in the 100 backstroke in the meet and amassed 65 points… Won the 50 backstroke in the meet vs. Richmond… Captured second in the 100 back in the Thomas Murphy Invitational and procured another relay gold in 200 medley… Produced 73 points… Debuted with a win in the 100 backstroke vs. Lafayette and added a second (200 back) and a fourth (100 fly).
Before Loyola: A seven-time Colorado state finalist over her four varsity seasons… Reached the podium twice in her senior year, finishing second in the 100 backstroke (55.36) and third in the 100 butterfly (56.78) at the CHSAA 4A Girls’ Championships… Earned bronze medals in the same races in 2024… Earned her school’s team Most Valuable Athlete honors in all four seasons and set Peak to Peak school records in the 100 back, 100 fly and all three sprint freestyle events… Led her team to a fourth-place finish at the CHSAA 4A Championships in February 2025… Competed for Elevation Athletics’ club team and was the 2024 Colorado state champion in the 200 backstroke.
Personal: Daughter of Katherine O’Neill and Christopher Walsh… Has older siblings, Madaline, Charlie and Liam… A Dean’s List student in all four years in high school and performed over 100 hours of community service.
