2026 (Senior): Ava Kane emerged as one of Loyola's top scoring threats, finishing the season with 25 goals, 5 assists and 30 points while appearing in all 20 games. She ranked second on the team with six free-position goals and scored multiple goals in seven games. Kane recorded a season-high four goals in a win over Navy (3/28) and added three-goal performances against Lehigh (2/14) and Colgate (4/11). She opened the season with a two-goal game at Johns Hopkins (2/11) and scored in 15 games overall while posting 45 shots on goal and a .804 shots-on-goal percentage.
2025 (Junior): Had a strong first season as a Greyhound, scoring a career-best 25 goals and 31 points on the season ... Scored two goals against No. 1 Boston College in the regular season opener (2/7) ... Scored three hat tricks on the season ... Recorded a career-best five points (3 goals, 2 assists) against Navy (3/26) ... Scored at least one point in 12 straight games to start the season.
Before Loyola:
Kane, a transfer from Rutgers, played two seasons for the Scarlet Knights, playing in 28 games, while starting 19 of them, during her two seasons in Piscataway. In her two seasons, Kane totaled 30 goals and 6 assists, while also tallying 17 ground balls and 21 draw controls in two seasons.
Prior to Rutgers, Kane attended Gernet Valley High School, where she helped the Jaguars to a PIAA state semifinal appearance as a senior. She was a All-Delco honorable mention selection during her senior season, while also being a two-time All-Star Philly Showcase selection. She is the daughter of Mark and Margaret Kane and has one sister, Ashley.
