2019-2020 (Sophomore): Had a productive second season in singles, with eight wins, and doubles with seven… Won two singles matches with an impressive three-set win over Georgetown to place fourth in her tournament at the University of Maryland’s Bedford Cup and teamed with classmate Brooke Santoriello in doubles for a great win over Virginia Tech to reach the consolation final… Undefeated in singles with four-straight wins at the Loyola Invitational with victories over George Mason and Mount St. Mary’s… Added two doubles triumphs… Won two doubles matches with Santoriello at the Loyola Classic to make the consolation finals… Had an awesome 3.74 GPA to earn a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… Dean’s List honoree.

2018-2019 (Freshman): Had a very successful first season for the Greyhounds with 10 singles wins (10-6), and 8 doubles victories, 6 with classmate Brooke Santoriello... They reached the quarterfinals in the “B” flight of the Bucknell Invitational and were 3-1 at the first annual Loyola Classic in the Fall season.

Before Loyola: Four-year standout at Gwynedd Mercy Academy in Pennsylvania … Member of AACA league championship team in 2014 … Named as team’s Most Valuable Player four years in a row … Winner of District 1 singles championship as a junior and senior … Three-time league all-star for the Monarchs … Finished third in PIAA State AA singles tournament as a senior … Also played one year of high school lacrosse for the Monarchs.
 
Personal: Daughter of Mary Stanton Wurtz and Joseph Wurtz … Has two older brothers … Born in Johnstown, Pa. … Member of National Honor Society.
