Biography
2018 (Junior, Track & Field): Opened the indoor season with a time of 19:51.66 in the 5,000m at the Navy Lid-Lifter… Ran 5:18.25 in the mile at the Wes Brown Invitational… Took 17th in the event at the Patriot League Indoor Championships (5:20.26)… Crossed the line with a time of 4:59.30 in the 1,500m at the Loyola-Johns Hopkins Invitational… Finished second in a pair of 3,000m steeplechase races, running 12:14.30 at the Fred Hardy Invitational and 11:54.81 at the JMU Invitational… Won the event at the Lehigh Games in 11:53.58 and was 12th at the Patriot League Championships… 11:39.93.
2017 (Sophomore, Track & Field): Finished 12th in the mile at the Sweetheart Multi-Mix in 5:30.14… Took second in the steeplechase at the Rider Invitational in 12:18.98… Won the steeplechase in 12:07.86 at the Lehigh Games and then ran a career-best of 11:55.50 to take 14th at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships.
2016 (Sophomore, Cross Country): Opened the year with a 47th-place finish at the Salty Dog Invitational… Placed 91st at the Patriot League Championships.
2016 (Freshman, Track & Field): Clocked a season-best time of 11:08.04 in the 3,000m at the Patriot League Indoor Championships… Ran her first collegiate steeplechase at the Loyola-Hopkins Invitational, placing seventh in 12:33.88… A week later, dropped her time to 12:09.73 at the Morgan State Legacy… Finished 18th in the steeplechase at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships in 12:32.15.
2015 (Freshman, Cross Country): Made her collegiate debut at the Mount St. Mary’s Duals with a 58th place finish… Crossed the line in 94th place at the Patriot League Championships.
Before Loyola: Awarded 17 varsity letters at Ursuline Academy – four in cross country, seven in track, four in basketball and two in soccer… Guided team to a second-place finish at the Delaware Cross Country Championships in 2011… Team took third at the Outdoor Track and Field Division Two Championships in 2012… Earned First Team All-Catholic and All-County Cross Country honors in 2011, ‘12 and ‘13… Cross Country All-State second-team in 2011 and third team in 2012.Â
Personal: Courtney Elizabeth Wallace… Daughter of Jill and Michael Wallace… Has two brothers, Michael and Cameron… Finished in the top-10 in her class at Ursuline Academy… A member of the National Honor Society… Plans to major in biology.
