Biography

2022-2023 (Freshman): Started her Loyola career in record-setting fashion... Named the Loyola Female Freshman Athlete of the Year... Set indoor program records in the 60 meters (7.65) and 200 meters (24.51) and outdoor marks in the 100 meters (11.99) and 200 meters (25.04)... Was a member of record-setting relays in the 4x200 meters (indoors, 1:45.31) and the 4x100 amd 4x200 meters (outdoors, 46.99 & 1:43.95)... Finished the indoor season with the six fastest, and seven of the eight fastest, times in school 60-meter history... Posted the top six times in the 200 meters ever at Loyola indoors... Made her collegiate debut in the 60 meters at the Rutgers Holiday Classic and ran 7.78 to break a 13-year old school record... Clocked 7.65 seconds in the 60 at the Penn State National Open to break that record... Ran 24.51 in the 200 at that meet for another school-best... Finished fifth in both events at the Patriot League Indoor Track & Field Championships, the top finish in a short sprint event for a Greyhounds student-athlete since the school joined the conference in 2013-14... Made her outdoor debut at the Navy Outdoor Invitational and ran 57.94 in the 400 meters... Set a school record in the outdoor 100 meters at the Colonial Relays, running 11.99 at the meet at William & Mary... Had a wind-aided time of 24.24 in the 200 meters at the same event... Ran a wind-legal time of 25.04 at the Temple Owls Invitational, going into a negative 1.9 m/s headwind, to set a new school standard... Member of the 4x100-meter relay team that took down a school record to win the event at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Reservoir High School in Fulton, Maryland where she was a four-year letterwinner in track and field... Won the Maryland state title in the 100 and 200 meters in 2022... Set school records in the 100, 200 and 400 meters outdoors and the 200 and 300 indoors... Semifinalist in the 100 meters at the New Balance Nationals in 2022... Helped Reservoir win 4x100-meter and 4x200-meter state titles all four years of high school... Named a Distinguished Scholar-Athlete by the U.S. Marine Corps in 2022.

Personal: Daughter of Angela and Christopher Adams... Has three siblings, Aliyah, Tyler and Cheresse... Member of the National Honor Society, the Principal's Honor Roll and the Black Student Achievement Program... Mother and grandmother both ran track.
