Biography
2020 (Junior, Track & Field): Ran the fourth-fastest 600 time in school history at the TerrapinĀ Invitational, finishing fifth in 1:40.69... Took eighth in the 800 at the Patriot Games (2:21.87) and was later sixth in the event at the Villanova Invitational (2:20.07)... Ran a personal-best of 2:16.27 in the 800 at the Navy Select where shew as sixth... Ran the third leg on the 4x800 team that was second at the Patriot League Championships and ninth at the ECAC Championships.
2019 (Junior, Cross Country): Took 130th at the Iona Meet of Champions (22:12.6) and 209th at the Paul Short Run (24:42.6)... Was 195th in 26:04.2 at the Princeton Invitational... Was 105th in 25:57.1 at the Patriot League Championships.
2019 (Sophomore, Track & Field): Ran a season-best time of 5:06.88 in the 1,500.
2018 (Freshman, Track & Field): Ran 1:27.06 in the 500m at the Navy Lid-Lifter and 1:46.11 for the No. 4 time in school history in the 600m at the Terrapin Invitational⦠Finished 18th in the 800m at the Patriot League Indoor Championships (2:26.57)⦠Outdoors, ran 2:24.03 in the 800m at the Lehigh Games and then was 32nd in the event at the Patriot League Championships (2:24.62).
2017 (Freshman, Cross Country): Made her collegiate debut at the Bison Invitational⦠Finished 109th (27:13.7) at the Patriot League Championships.
Before Loyola: Earned nine letters at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland⦠Was a four-year letterwinner in indoor and outdoor track and field, picked up two each in cross country and field hockey and one in swimming⦠Graduated as the Eaglesā school record holder in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters and was a part of the record-setting 4x800-meter relay team⦠Earned All-Montgomery County honors in the 1,600⦠Four-time team Most Valuable Player, picking up the honor in both indoor and outdoor track and field in 2016 and 2017⦠Part of the state champion 4x800-meter team during the 2015 indoor season⦠Was the field hockey teamās Most Valuable Player⦠Ran for Young Gunz Track Club and competed nationally in the 1,500 meters.
Personal: Jordyn Mikayla Pugh⦠Daughter of Rachinee and David Pugh⦠Has two older siblings, Davbid and Mia, and two younger, Camden and Morgan⦠Began running because of her dadās love for running and his high school and an collegiate career⦠Received the Outstanding Persons Award for community service and was a scholar-athlete award winner.
