Biography
2024 (Track & Field): Made her collegiate debut with a time of 70.54 in the indoor 400 at the Patriot Games.
2023 (Cross Country): Did not compete.
Before Loyola: Graduated from Tatnall School where she competed in indoor and outdoor track and field... Team captain as a junior and senior... Won 2022 state titles in the 4x400m and 4x800m... Fifth individually in the 400m at the 2022 State Championships... Earned All-County honors as a sophomore, junior and senior... Helped Tatnall win the 2022 outdoor and 2023 indoor and outdoor state championships.
Personal: Daughter of Crystal Collins and Richard Romero... Has one sibling, Akeelah... Earned high honors... Received the National African-American Recognition Award and the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence as a junior... In 12th grade, earned the Karen L. Williams Scholar Award , the Peer Leader Award, Teddy Sezna Spirit Award, the Lisa Lessner Exceptional Graduating Scholar Award and the Crown Trophy Academic Award... Father ran track and field at the University of Delaware and played semi-pro football.
