Chris Archacki, a longtime member of the Loyola University community, joined the Department of Athletics as the Director of Athletic Business Operations in August 2011, was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director in June 2013 and later to his current role as Associate Athletic Director in July 2019.

Archacki worked as an undergraduate student in the Providence College Department of Athletics and accepted a graduate assistantship at Miami University in the Department of Recreational Sports where he completed his Master of Science in Sport Studies.  He worked on a diverse staff who helped open and manage Miami’s Recreational Sports Center and organized intramural and club sports programs.  While finishing his degree, he also worked full-time for the YMCA in Southern Ohio directing youth and adult sports programs. 

Archacki joined the Loyola College community in the summer of 1997 as a member of the Student Development division and worked in the Department of Recreational Sports on a staff that helped design, open and manage Loyola’s Fitness & Aquatic Center.  He assisted with the staffing and daily facility management of the FAC as well as organized competitive sports programs for thirteen years.   As the Associate Director of Recreational Sports, Archacki also managed departmental budgets, external revenues and supervised others in multiple areas.

Archacki began his role in the Department of Athletics in the summer of 2011.  He is responsible for the management of operational budgets for Loyola's 18 varsity sports, capital project planning and associated support areas. Archacki oversees all financial compliance reporting and adherence to budget standards of the University, the Patriot League and the NCAA. Archacki serves on various institutional committees with colleagues and is involved with many university wide initiatives.   He also serves as the sport supervisor for women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country, women's track and men's and women's rowing at Loyola.

In addition to his Master of Science degree from Miami University, Archacki also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Loyola University Sellinger School of Business.   Archacki and his wife, Valerie, live in the Baltimore area with their three sons, Ben, Will and Daniel.
