Fiszel joins the Greyhounds coaching staff with five years of college coaching experience at Florida Gulf Coast University and Bethel College, along with years of club soccer experience.
He most recently served as assistant coach and head goalkeeper coach for the past two seasons at Florida Gulf Coast, assistant both the men's and women's programs. He was responsible for overseeing player development, training, and performance analysis, while also assisting in recruiting efforts.
During his final season at FCGU, he helped lead the women's soccer team to the regular season championship. He also coached the ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year, as she was also named to the ASUN First Team All League, ASUN All-Tournament Team, ASUN All-Academic Team, and earned four weekly awards from the ASUN and one TopDrawerSoccer Goalkeeper of the Week. She finished the season nationally ranked in saves per game, total saves, and save percentage.
On the men's side, he helped coach the goalkeepers who helped lead the mto the Conference Tournament Semifinals, after making two crucial saves in penalty kicks to advance.
Prior to serving as an assistant coach, Fiszel was a volunteer assistant coach for a season for the Eagles. Fiszel also served as an assistant coach for two seasons at Bethel College.
Before joining the college ranks, he served as Assistant Coach and General Manager of the Sporting Wichita First Team, where he assisted in team structure, player recruitment, and staff selection. During his time in Wichita, he also served as Director of Coaching and was a Youth Soccer Coach for Sporting Wichita Youth Soccer Club.
Fiszel earned his associate's degree from Allen County Community College before earning his Bachelors of Business Administration from Newman University. He appeared in 34 games over two seasons at Newman, starting in 7 games, while scoring two goals and three assists, including a game-winner.
