Joe Sefoi, highly motivated athletic coach with a comprehensive background in soccer and a specialized strength and conditioning coach.
Joe moved from Sierra Leone to the US back in 2014 where he started his soccer journey and academic’s at CCBC (Catonsville). Later moved to Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Tennessee to complete his Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science & kinesiology.
After college, Joe moved to Costa Rica to continue playing at a professional level and build on his experience and love of the game. After years of playing pro, had a set back where he tore his ACL and Quad.
After months of recovery and rehabilitation in the strength and conditioning program, Joe found his passion to be a strength and fitness coach, helping him understand how to boost his confidence to get back in the game.
Recently, Joe is linked with the Baltimore Blast pro indoor team, Where he was named captain of the MASL 2 team of the Blast (Baltimore Arsenal). Where he finished top, leading his team with the most assists of the season.
Moving to Loyola as the new strength and conditioning coach of the women’s program is the next big step for me in my journey and I’m grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to make an impact and elevate the team confidence and spirit to championship.
