Jonathan Yanko was named as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in July 2022.
He comes to Loyola after a year at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he served as a post graduate intern for Athletic Communications and Marketing. He was the main communications contact for a nationally ranked volleyball, and men's and women's basketball teams, as well as baseball.
Yanko graduated from Misericordia University in 2019 with his bachelors in Sports Management and a minor in Marketing. He was also on the football team for four years while at Misericordia. He then graduated with his masters in Sport Administration from Canisius College.
He is originally from Hopatcong, New Jersey.
