Sami Kircher has joined the Loyola University Maryland volleyball staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2026 season.
Kircher was a graduate assistant coach at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where she helped the Blazers reach the Middle Atlantic Commonwealth Conference playoffs for the first time in 10 years.
She led the team’s defensive player development, and she helped Ann Ofoegbu earn All-MAC Commonwealth Conference Second Team.
Kircher also assisted in recruiting, practice and match planning, and film breakdown.
She graduated from Ferrum College in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in biology, and she pursued her Master of Biomedical Sciences at Hood.
At Ferrum, she was a four-year letterwinner for the Panthers, finishing with 775 digs, 313 kills and 101 service aces between 2021-25. At the end of her senior season, she was named to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Sportsmanship Team.
