Stan Koziol was the epitome of an unselfish soccer player in his four years as a Greyhound. At the time of his induction "Stas" held the school record for career assists with 29 and was also 14th on the school's all-time scoring list with 67 points. Koziol served as the team captain for both his junior and senior seasons. In his freshman campaign in 1983, Koziol was named the Greyhound "Rookie of the Year." In both the 1986 and 1987 campaigns, he was a Second Team NSCAA All-American selection and ECAC Metro Conference Player of the Year. In both years, Koziol led his fellow Greyhounds to two straight NCAA Tournament quarterfinal appearances.
