Westover, Md. - The Loyola men's golf team scored a 299 in Sunday's final round of the Drew Upton Memorial and placed 15th in the 23-team field. Richmond won the tournament with a two-day team score of 576 at Great Hope Golf Club in Westover, Md.

Freshman Michael Mulieri registered Loyola's best round of the tournament, posting an even-par 72 on Sunday. Mulieri finished the tournament with a 146, two strokes ahead of teammate Matt Bassler, who posted rounds of 73 and 75 to finish with a 148.

Junior captain Will Shriver scored a 36-hole 150 while sophomores Nick Brassill (153) and Chris Derby (154) ended the two-day tournament with a pair of rounds in the 70's. Brassill's posted a 75 on Sunday.

Liberty's Andrew Turner took medalist honors with rounds of 72 and 66. His team placed third, one stroke behind second-place Western Kentucky.

The Greyhounds have one more regular season tournament before their conference championships in Florida. Loyola will be off this weekend and returns to action on Friday-Saturday, April 14-15 at Navy.
